Membership

Connect your enterprise to a wider tourism region.

KMTA membership is for tourism stakeholders who want stronger professional relationships, destination visibility and a constructive role in the future of Karavali and Malenadu.

Who can join

A broad network for the visitor economy.

Tourism works through connected services. A memorable journey may depend on accommodation, transport, food, guiding, attractions, events, local producers, digital visibility and destination coordination. KMTA welcomes expressions of interest from established enterprises, emerging operators and professionals whose work contributes responsibly to that wider system.

Participation is intended for stakeholders operating in, serving or meaningfully connected with the seven KMTA districts. Current eligibility and participation requirements will be shared directly during the registration process.

Active membership

How to get lasting value from participation

Membership creates the most value when an enterprise participates with a clear purpose. A new homestay may want stronger local referrals. A tour operator may want accurate district information and B2B introductions. A hotel may be ready to support a familiarisation visit or skills session. Sharing that purpose helps KMTA connect members to relevant work instead of treating participation as a passive listing.

Members should be prepared to maintain current contact and product information, describe their services accurately and respond professionally to introductions. Where an activity requires images, accessibility details, rates, safety information or operating dates, the requested material should be supplied in the stated format and reviewed before use. This makes collaborative promotion more dependable for everyone involved.

Participation can also be a contribution. Experienced operators may share learning, host a visit, recommend a speaker or help explain a district challenge. Smaller and newer enterprises may contribute locally rooted ideas and emerging visitor needs. The organisation benefits when participation reflects different districts, business sizes and areas of the tourism economy.

A regional network works best when members exchange opportunity as well as information. This can include responsible referrals, joint itinerary ideas, supplier introductions and learning between businesses that serve different parts of a visitor journey. Members remain responsible for their own services, claims, prices and compliance, while KMTA provides a platform for connection and shared regional development. Participation should always respect confidentiality where required, give collaborators appropriate credit and use approved destination or business information. These habits strengthen professional confidence and make it easier for new opportunities to include enterprises from more than one district.
